Напаѓачот на Ал-Наср реши да го напушти репрезентативниот камп по конфликтот со селекторот Жорге Жесус, а потоа Роналдо призна дека згрешил со неговиот потег.
Фудбалскиот сојуз на Португалија соопшти дека Роналдо е привремено суспендиран додека Дисциплинската комисија не донесе конечна одлука за иднината на искусниот фудбалер.
Според правилникот, на Роналдо му се заканува суспензија во период од еден до шест месеци, како и парична казна од 500 до 1.000 евра.
